Active galactic nuclei (AGN), sometimes known as quasars, are some of the brightest objects in the universe. They are theorized to be the accretion of matter by a supermassive black hole at the center of the host galaxy. Some of these AGNs are also located in the brightest cluster galaxies (BCGs) at the center of galaxy clusters. In spite that AGNs are more than a million time less massive compared to galaxy clusters, would it be possible for AGNs in the BCG to affect the host cluster? In this talk, I will expand on this question and attempt to give an answer which could potentially lead us to understand more about galaxy cluster evolution and formation.
