We provide a narrative description of examples of symmetry breakings in the cosmos for the general audience. At intermediate cosmic scales, the existence of anisotropic infrared fixed points of RG (renormalization group) transformations leads to the continuing development of complex large-scale structures. At the largest cosmic scales, the statistically isotropic distribution of the coexistence of infrared multi-phases provides a theoretical understanding of the accelerating expansion of the Universe. We presently live in a matter-dominated statistically isotropic and homogeneous fractal Universe far beyond the ILE (Isotropic Lifshitz Endpoint). This result predicts cosmological parameters remarkably close to the accepted observational values. During the talk, special terminologies such as fractal, RG, ILE, and fixed points will be explained in terms of simple concepts and common experiences.
