MKI will hold a “Meet and Greet” on Friday, September 7 at 12noon instead of a regular Friday Journal Club lunch meeting. The location for the “Meet and Greet” is Marlar Lounge (37-252). Lunch will be provided.

Here is the format for our “Meet and Greet”. Each attendee will have one minute to introduce themselves, preferably using one PowerPoint slide. Your PowerPoint slide should include basic information (name, email, etc.) and a blurb and/or image of your research interests.

Here’s the important part — please save your slide as a PDF and email to MKI grad student Michael Calzadilla (msc92@mit.edu) no later than 12noon on Thursday, September 6.  Don’t worry — if you don’t submit a PowerPoint slide to Michael, you will still have an opportunity to stand up at the lunch to give your one minute introduction.
