Brown Bag Lunch Talk:

Abstract
For the past several years, a few scientists at the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics (Hannover, Germany) have been having fun applying gravitational-wave data analysis techniques to search for weak electromagnetic signals. These data come from the Arecibo and Parkes radio telescopes, and from the LAT detector on board the Fermi satellite. In this informal lunchtime chat, I'll present a selection of recent results from searches of radio and gamma-ray data. If there is interest, I will also talk about some of the recent gravitational-wave analysis work and propose and defend a radical approach to SKA data storage and processing.
