His background is in gravitational-wave physics. He has been a member of the LIGO Scientific Collaboration (ligo.caltech.edu) since 2016. Besides gravitational waves, he has worked on time-domain astronomy with the iPTF/ZTF collaboration. He was also a part of the Dark Energy Science Collaboration of the Rubin Observatory. He is interested in multi-messenger astrophysics with gravitational waves, neutron star physics, and gravitational-wave cosmology. His work involves data analysis, high-performance computing, using modern techniques in machine learning to build tools to enable the emerging field of multi-messenger astrophysics. Within the LIGO lab, he is involved in the real-time operations of the LIGO/Virgo collaboration. At MIT, he also works with the A3D3 institute (a3d3.ai).
