I was born and raised in Virginia and graduated from James Madison high school class of 2015. I received a AB degree in physics from Princeton University in the class of 2019 where my research focused on technology development for NASA’s LISA mission, precision magnetometry and gyroscopes, and quantum computation and communication. For 18 months after graduating from Princeton, I worked at a proprietary trading firm to predictively model power grid congestion and improve the firm’s bidding strategies into FTR (financial transmission rights) auctions.
I am currently working with Professor Matthew Evans on technology development for LIGO.
