My research is in gravitational-wave physics / astronomy / astrophysics. I study the formation, evolution, and mergers of compact-object binaries containing black holes and neutron stars. In particular, my work has focused on the relativistic dynamics of binary black holes using numerical and analytical methods. I am also interested in measuring the properties of gravitational-wave sources and their underlying populations using Bayesian inference and machine learning.
I received my integrated masters undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Warwick (UK) in 2019 and my PhD in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Birmingham (UK) in 2023. I joined MKI as a postdoctoral associate in the LIGO Lab in September 2023.
