I was born in the south of Italy, where at the age of 10 or 11 I discovered I wanted to be a scientist, and never changed my mind afterward. I left Italy at the age of 24. Beside science, I like reading, history, literature, movies, walking trough the city (in particular in Paris), opera, basketball, making bread (and eating it!).

My work focuses on data analysis for gravitational waves signals detected with the LIGO instruments. In particular I work on tests of General Relativity using gravitational waves; on assessing the typical accuracy with which we will be able to estimate the physical parameters of the source, with special interest on its sky localization.
