Alexander is a graduate student working with the AMS-02 experiment studying the properties and composition of incident cosmic rays under the supervision of Peter Fisher. He is interested in understanding how the heliospheric environment and various solar events affect the measurements made by AMS-02 and the influences these events have on the local space weather.

Alexander grew up in Kansas and studied at Washburn University earning degrees in physics, engineering physics, and leadership studies in 2021.
