I am currently a fourth-year graduate student here at MIT’s Department of Physics and the Kavli Institute for Astrophysics and Space Research. I was born in New Zealand, but lived most of my life in Singapore before returning back to New Zealand to finish high school and pursued my undergraduate degree. I did both a Bachelor of Science, majoring in physics and mathematics, and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics at The University of Auckland in Auckland, New Zealand. I also worked briefly at the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia, and at the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia. In my leisure time, I enjoy working out, reading the news, and exploring/traveling.

Currently, I work on pulsation searches, X-ray timing, and spectroscopy (spectral fitting) of neutron stars with X-ray data from a variety of X-ray instruments, including the Neutron star Interior Composition Explorer (NICER), an external payload aboard the International Space Station. I am also working on photoelectron track estimation in X-ray polarimetry with the Imaging X-ray Polarimetry Explorer (IXPE).
